Career
Dr Thomas Robert realized his residency in Neurosurgery at Chuv in Lausanne with a period of 1 year at Regional Hospital of Sion. After this initial training and his MD thesis, he followed various complementary formation. The first one in the Department of Interventional Neuroradiology of the famous Rothschild Foundation Hospital in Paris to learn the endovascular treatment of all neurovascular pathologies as aneurysms and arterio-venous malformations. This two-year fellowship allows Dr Robert to see and treat complex neurovascular cases. The second training he followed was a Fellowship of neurovascular and skull base surgery in Montreal. This experience under the supervision of Pr Bojanowski gave him the possibility to learn surgical techniques for most complex cranial pathologies. Dr Robert has also an important experience in the management of hydrocephalus and pituitary tumors. All along his career, he treated lots of spinal cases as degenerative, oncologic, or traumatic.
During eight year long, Dr Robert worked as Neurosurgeon at Ospedale Civico in Lugano among which the two last years as pre and post graduate chairman and also as head of cranial activity.

About her
Miss Barba is born in Lugano where she grew up. She followed commercial education and obtained the federal attestation of commercial employee.
After 24 years of working in the financial sector, she decided to switch for the sanitary sector few years ago.
Her willingness to reinforce inter-personal link and her important empathy for patients are the most two important reason that inspire her for this professional change.
Patients have the opportunity to be listened and welcomed by her.

About her
Miss Schittino is born in Aarau and is grown in Ticino. After a formation in financial and commercial sectors, she worked in an international society of exportation.
Successively to a professional break for familial reasons and after working in different sectors, she found another time what she prefers: working in contact with persons and more specifically with patients. She worked as administrative assistant for a dental office and for a nursing home. She now is dedicated to our medical office.
Always with a positive attitude, she loves his work in contact with our patients.
