Scientific publications

Dr Robert has always given and already gives importance to his scientific activity. He received the title MD of thesis at University of Lausanne and after, the title of Privat Docent at the University of the Southern Switzerland (USI). The total number of his publications is more than 70 articles in international peer-reviewed journals (Pubmed). Most of these are about oncologic and neuro-vascular pathologies. His competences in these two domain-of-interests are recognized since many years and he has an important activity as reviewer for a lot of international journals.

On the other hand, Dr Robert was also concerned by the training of future neurosurgeons and published more than five textbooks about Neurosurgery for educational purposes.

 

Dr Bonasia has shown a vivid interest for the scientific activity since the beginning of her training in Neurosurgery. She obtained the MD title at the University of Italian Switzerland after the publication of a study on the angiographic anatomy in the contest of Moyamoya disease. The participation to a wide number of scientific works led to the publication of about 18 scientific articles in international peer-reviewed journals (Pubmed) and to become reviewer for a lot of scientific journals.

 

The interest of Dr. Robert and Dr. Bonasia for the vascular anatomy led to the recent publication of a book dedicated to the anatomy, embryology and variants of cerebral arteries.
